Our Saturday headliner is a celebration of the true heart of this festival, MIDLANDS FILMMAKING.
We have chosen 11 of the finest short films to share with you on the big screen all created within a stones throw (ish) of the venue.
The filmmaking talent in this county is difficult to comprehend, but we’ve tried our hardest and on Saturday the 28th, filmmakers from all 4 corners of the midlands will come together to honour these remarkable projects.
A special Midlands Networking session will take place from 18:30 with the main event beginning at 20:00.
The films in this session range from galactic adventures with Space Princesses to a break-in at a Fish & Chip shop.
These films nearly have it all, 80’s cheese, culinary heartbreak, evil haircuts, and even family drama settled in the wrestling ring. This is a true highlight of the festival and for the entire team here it’s part of our mission to promote and celebrate Midlands Filmmaking.
